Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager+ to join our partnership with Oracle, a global leader in cloud solutions and enterprise software. In this role, you will take ownership of delivering short-term, fixed-price projects in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Center of Excellence (CoE) and R&D units, contributing to the delivery of innovative solutions with a focus on agentic AI and emerging technologies (e.g., NVIDIA, OCI). This role is a great fit for a proactive leader who is comfortable working with uncertainty, knows how to streamline delivery processes, and is driven to create tangible business value for the client.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the end-to-end delivery of multiple short-term, fixed-price projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timelines
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Oracle stakeholders, client stakeholders, as well as internal engineering, CoE, and R&D teams
• Open new contracts and explore existing ones
• Manage promoters/neutral and detractors with proper actioning behind the execution
• Lead project planning, estimation, risk management, and reporting, ensuring transparency and predictability throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Ensure quality gates are established for projects and effectively enable them for the project-qualified outcome
• Understand the technical foundation of the projects that are based on emerging tech (AI, RAG, Cloud (OCI), NVIDIA, Digital Twins)
• Understand the value chain and how the projects contribute to it
• Work with PdM and Oracle CoE to maximise business value and optimise the cost of delivery, eliminating waste
• Effectively manage scope and change requests within fixed-price constraints
• Ensure compliance with SoftServe PMO standards, governance, and best practices
• Eliminate redundancy and set a tailoring process based on project objectives
• Enable clear and efficient communication across distributed and cross-functional teams for different target audiences
• Expand stakeholder network
• Support the adoption of agentic AI approaches and modern delivery practices
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and optimise efficiency
• Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and escalations in a fast-changing environment
• Mentor and support team members, fostering accountability, growth, and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Project Management, including experience in a Project Manager role
• 5+ years of experience in the IT industry
• Proven experience delivering fixed-price projects with strong scope and financial control
• Background in working within dynamic environments with multiple short-term initiatives
• Experience collaborating with CoE and/or R&D teams
• Moderate technical background and learning agility (e.g., software engineering, AI/Agentic, NVIDIA, Cloud (OCI or other hyperscaler), engineering quality gates)
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts, with preference for experience in agentic AI approaches
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models
• Proven skills in risk management, estimation, and stakeholder management
• Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation abilities
• Proficiency in navigating ambiguity, adapting quickly, and making data-driven decisions
• Experience working with enterprise-scale clients (Oracle or similar is a plus)
