We are a growing team collaborating with a client in the government administration domain. Our client is a well-established intergovernmental organization that provides inventors with a unified patent application process, enabling protection across more than 40 European countries. By fostering innovation across Europe, the organization plays a significant role in shaping an effective global patent system.
Together with the client, we focus on building resilient, secure, and modern digital solutions. The project is centered around driving digital transformation of patent-granting processes and corporate services, leveraging cutting-edge technologies while maintaining the highest standards of IT security.
IF YOU ARE
- Experienced in Java backend development using Spring and Spring Boot
- Confident with Hibernate and relational databases such as PostgreSQL
- Skilled in writing unit and integration tests using JUnit
- Familiar with BigQuery or other analytical data platforms
- Proficient with build tools such as Maven
- Experienced in version control systems, particularly GitHub
- Knowledgeable in containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (K8s)
- Familiar with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experienced or interested in CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD
- Strong in clean code practices, OOP, and design principles
- A proactive and motivated professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A collaborative team player with good communication skills in English
AND YOU WANT TO
- Develop and maintain high-quality backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot
- Design, build, and optimize data-driven services integrating PostgreSQL and BigQuery
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code supported by unit and integration tests
- Work with modern cloud-native technologies within GCP environments
- Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, ArgoCD)
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to production support
- Ensure adherence to development standards and engineering best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of system architecture and development processes
