IF YOU ARE
- Experienced in build integration and release engineering
- Skilled in Android integration processes
- Experienced with Android or Linux-based build systems, including AOSP (Make, Soong), or similar build environments in Embedded or Automotive domains
- Knowledgeable in Git, repo, branching strategies, and manifest management
- Familiar with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Buildkite
- Adept at debugging build failures, resolving integration issues, and analyzing system-level problems
- Comfortable working in Linux environments and creating automation scripts (Python, Bash)
- Systematic in developing metrics to monitor and improve build system performance
- Experienced in working with BSPs from vendors like MediaTek or Qualcomm (nice to have)
- Knowledgeable of OTA systems and update frameworks (would be a plus)
- Experienced with large-scale device deployments and telemetry-driven validation (as a bonus)
- Familiar with Android system architecture (HAL, framework, services) – optional
AND YOU WANT TO
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software integration issues like software upgrade issues, merge conflicts, compilation issues and bisect builds for bugs
- Coordinate with Engineering, QA, and Production teams to provide quality software releases to customers
- Work with the following tools: JIRA, Jenkins, Gerrit, GitHub, git, repo, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, shell/python/groovy scripting, UI Development
