ABOUT THE ROLE
SoftServe is looking for a Middle 3D Generalist to join our Spatial Design Team and contribute to building advanced digital twin solutions using NVIDIA Omniverse. In this role, you will create high-quality 3D content, support USD-based production pipelines, and help deliver immersive visualization experiences across industries including manufacturing, automotive, retail, energy, healthcare, and robotics. This engagement starts on a project basis with the opportunity to evolve into a full-time remote or hybrid position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and optimize 3D assets, scenes, and environments in NVIDIA Omniverse, ensuring visual quality and real-time performance across digital twin projects
- Own the preparation and refinement of 3D content to support scalable visualization, simulation, and interactive experiences across multiple industries
- Collaborate closely with technical teams, designers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless asset integration within real-time and simulation-based workflows
- Build, maintain, and improve USD-based pipelines that support efficient content creation, asset management, and project scalability
- Adapt and integrate 3D assets for domain-specific use cases, including manufacturing, automotive, retail, energy, healthcare, and robotics environments
- Set up and optimize lighting, materials, rendering, and scene composition for realistic or stylized visual outcomes
- Support robotics and simulation-focused initiatives by developing and adjusting 3D content aligned with project requirements
- Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate asset creation, improve production efficiency, and streamline repetitive creative tasks
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of professional experience as a 3D Artist, 3D Generalist, 3D Designer, or in a similar role
- Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Omniverse, including USD workflows and Omniverse applications or extensions
- Strong understanding of 3D fundamentals, including modeling, texturing, lighting, scene composition, and optimization techniques
- Experience with Unity and/or Unreal Engine, particularly within real-time rendering, optimization, and visualization pipelines, will be a strong advantage
- Basic Python scripting skills for automation or customization tasks will be considered a plus
- Experience working with particle systems, VFX, or simulation-related effects will be an advantage
- Proficiency in working independently in a project-based environment with evolving priorities and requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality results
- Comfortable communicating and collaborating within cross-functional and distributed teams
