ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will contribute to the quality and reliability of advanced networking solutions developed for a global technology leader in networking, telecommunications, cloud, and security. You will join a Quality Engineering team, leveraging Python-based automation to validate complex, highly integrated systems and support continuous software delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites covering functional, regression, API, and integration testing
- Build, extend, and improve test automation frameworks using Python and tools such as PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium, or Playwright
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster feedback cycles
- Analyze test results, investigate failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with engineering teams on issue resolution
- Perform API testing and validate data flows and integrations between system components
- Maintain test code and related artifacts using Git and track testing activities and defects in Jira
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python-based test automation and scripting
- Practical experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium, or Playwright
- Experience working with networking technologies and concepts
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, including test design, functional, regression, and API testing
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with performance and load testing using JMeter
- Knowledge of REST and GraphQL API testing and message-based integrations
- Previous QA automation experience in networking or telecom projects, particularly with Cisco SCC or SD-WAN
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Behave or Cucumber
- Upper-Intermediate level of English for effective communication
