About the role
In this role, you will contribute to building advanced robotics and automation solutions that help businesses improve efficiency, precision, and decision-making. Working within SoftServe's Robotics & Advanced Automation Group, you will apply strong engineering, mathematical, and software development expertise to design intelligent systems from concept through production.
Responsibilities
- Create digital twins of real systems
- Model and optimize processes
- Design and develop complex control systems and solutions for various types of robotic systems
- Build multiple rapid prototypes and refine them into production-ready solutions
- Test robotic solutions both in simulated environments and real-world scenarios
- Design automated robotic systems to enhance production efficiency and precision within specific industries
- Research into the latest trends and modern approaches in the robotics domain, including navigation, sensing, and decision-making
Requirements
- Advanced Python skills (over 5 years) and experience designing, developing, and implementing complex and efficient algorithms
- Academic Background with MSc or Ph.D. degree in computer science, applied mathematics, robotics
- Proficient in control theory, including model-based control (MPC, MHE, LQG), Kalman filtering, and decentralized control system analysis
- Well-versed in mathematical optimization techniques such as NLP, QP, and MILP
- Experienced in first-principle and data-driven modeling techniques for dynamic systems
- Skilled in numerical methods, concurrent programming, and component-oriented programming
- Familiar with AWS cloud services and their application in software development
- Proficient in working with databases like SQLite and PostgreSQL
- Comfortable working in Unix (Linux) environments
- Skilled in testing, continuous integration, build and deployment, and monitoring complex systems
