About the role
You will join a distributed engineering team delivering IoT solutions across embedded, edge, and cloud-connected systems. This role focuses on building reliable software for Linux- and RTOS-based devices while adapting to diverse projects and hardware platforms. You will contribute to technically challenging products and grow through hands-on work in modern IoT environments
Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded and edge software in C++ for Linux- and RTOS-based devices, ensuring stability and performance across different hardware platforms
- Own software components end-to-end, contributing to system reliability, maintainability, and efficient resource usage
- Collaborate closely with distributed engineering teams to integrate device software with cloud platforms and services
- Implement and support communication between devices and cloud systems using networking protocols and messaging technologies
- Work with various hardware architectures, including ARM and x86, adapting software to platform-specific constraints
- Apply modern development practices, including version control, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows
- Use containerization technologies such as Docker to support development, testing, and deployment scenarios
- Read, analyze, and apply technical documentation and system requirements to deliver accurate and compliant solutions
Requirements
- Commercial software engineering experience of 1+ years with a strong focus on C++ development
- Hands-on experience or solid understanding of Linux-based systems and core operating system concepts
- Basic experience with embedded programming or edge applications within IoT environments
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized application workflows
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and communication protocols such as TCP/IP, MQTT, DDS, or CAN
- Basic knowledge of computer vision concepts and use cases
- Experience working with build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation and system specifications
- Team-oriented mindset with clear communication skills and motivation to learn new technologies
- Intermediate English level or higher for daily collaboration and documentation
