ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will take ownership of contributing to a modern data platform that brings information from multiple business systems into a governed data layer. You will work in a distributed engineering environment, helping improve the reliability and quality of business data while collaborating with engineering teams and business stakeholders to support effective data use.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain reliable data ingestion and transformation pipelines that integrate information from multiple business systems and external data sources into the data platform
- Take ownership of data workflows by implementing data quality checks, validation, monitoring, and failure handling to support reliable data processing
- Collaborate with distributed engineering teams, client-facing teams, and business stakeholders, providing clear updates and contributing to technical discussions
- Develop ELT workflows using dbt and integration or orchestration technologies such as Fivetran, Airflow, and Snowflake Tasks
- Support the development of data models across customer, transaction, service, communication, and other related business domains
- Contribute to identity resolution and golden record processes, including data matching, normalization, merge logic, and related data management activities
- Integrate REST APIs and file-based data sources, supporting historical data loads as well as incremental data processing requirements
- Troubleshoot data and pipeline issues independently, support security and governance practices, and propose practical solutions when requirements or source documentation are incomplete
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake for data engineering and data transformation workloads, supported by 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering and building production data pipelines
- Strong proficiency in SQL and practical Python skills for data engineering activities
- Solid experience with dbt and data pipeline orchestration or integration tools such as Airflow, Fivetran, or Snowflake Tasks
- Practical experience with REST APIs, file-based feeds, or other external data sources
- Good understanding of data modeling, data quality, and modern ELT/ETL practices
- Good familiarity with identity resolution, Master Data Management (MDM), or golden record concepts is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently when requirements or source documentation are not fully defined
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiency
