ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will contribute to data migration and modernization initiatives, helping organizations move legacy data platforms and workflows to modern cloud-based architectures. You will work with AWS services, Python, Spark, and AI-assisted development tools to build, optimize, and validate data processing solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain data processing workflows and migration solutions using AWS services and Python
- Build and support batch and streaming data pipelines using PySpark and distributed data processing frameworks
- Assist in analyzing legacy systems and data processes to support migration planning and execution
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, testing, and migration activities
- Develop data validation and quality assurance processes to ensure successful migration outcomes
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to migration processes and data workflows
- Support deployment and automation activities within cloud environments
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Migration projects
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with PySpark and distributed data processing
- Experience with AWS services such as Step Functions, S3, Lambda, or CloudWatch
- Understanding of ETL and data pipeline development practices
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools or willingness to learn and adopt them
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in understanding business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
- Upper-intermediate or higher level of English
