ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will lead and support a team of Atlassian administrators delivering reliable, scalable solutions for clients across the USA and Europe. You will take ownership of Atlassian environments, migrations, and optimizations, working closely with customer stakeholders to ensure their tools effectively support business processes and growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and coordinate a team of 3–5 Atlassian application administrators, ensuring high-quality service delivery and knowledge sharing
- Own Atlassian administration activities, driving stable operations, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders, internal teams, and partners to gather requirements and deliver effective Atlassian solutions
- Support the team with complex issue troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and related tools
- Plan and execute Atlassian migrations, including Server-to-Cloud and Cloud-to-Cloud, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity
- Configure and optimize Atlassian products to align with customer processes, ITIL practices, and ITSM standards
- Manage integrations and third-party add-ons, ensuring compatibility, performance, and security
- Perform major and minor system upgrades, including Jira version upgrades, and conduct user trainings and guidance sessions
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Atlassian administration
- Strong expertise in Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and related Atlassian products
- Practical experience with Atlassian migrations, preferably Server-to-Cloud
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM concepts
- Experience in team coordination or people leadership roles
- Confidence in customer support or system administration environments
- Strong problem-solving and research skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Effectiveness in a team-oriented, service-driven environment
- Intermediate level of English for professional communication
