ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Junior Test Automation Engineer, you will join a team of six engineers focused on improving automation processes and expanding test coverage for an enterprise-level IT management product. You will work with an American client developing software solutions for monitoring and managing complex IT infrastructures, contributing directly to product quality and reliability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain automated tests using C# to improve test coverage and product stability
- Take ownership of automation scenarios, ensuring reliable validation of critical product functionality and reducing manual testing effort
- Collaborate closely with developers, QAs, and team members to align testing strategies with product goals
- Analyze requirements and technical documentation to design effective and maintainable automated test solutions
- Enhance and evolve the existing automation framework to support scalable and efficient testing
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and investigate defects to identify root causes
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support overall product quality by proactively identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities for test optimization
REQUIREMENTS
- Hands-on experience with test automation using C#
- Basic understanding of automated testing principles, tools, and frameworks
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals or strong motivation to learn and apply them in practice
- Experience working with defect tracking systems and test documentation
- Good spoken and written English, with confidence in using it in daily communication
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- Willingness to learn, grow technically, and take ownership of assigned tasks
