Junior Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst

The M&A Team provides complex merger and acquisition processes. The Junior Mergers and Acquisition Analyst collaborates with the M&A Team and SoftServe business leaders to ensure the timely completion of targeted acquisitions, due diligence, and integration activities.

IF YOU ARE

  • Strong in financial analysis and modeling and knowledge of corporate finance concepts
  • Oriented towards analytical and critical thinking
  • Intellectually curious and resourceful
  • Familiar with research tools (open sources and proprietary)
  • Aware of project management
  • Skilled in deadline focus and attention to detail
  • Effective as interpersonal relationship-building
  • Experienced in Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Fluently speaking English
  • Proficiency in other languages (would be a plus)

AND YOU WANT TO

  • Assist senior M&A team members in researching prospective targets based on defined criteria
  • Initial analysis of potential targets based on received information from advisors and open-source data
  • Participate in the due diligence process on live deals: prepare information requests, data room maintenance, and project management support
  • Maintain M&A pipeline: add information for new targets, update when changes occur
  • Sustain M&A process-related documentation
  • Prepare various regular reporting (e.g. business cases, pipeline status, M&A process status) and ad-hock (e.g. market overview) reports for senior executives and board members
  • Provide concise, informative executive reporting for streamlined and informed decisions
  • Assist senior team members in creating merger and financial model analyses, generating models for valuation metrics, with on ad-hoc activities during deal execution and integration processes
  • Maintain a suite of department tools (pipeline, research, etc.) and make recommendations for changes, if needed
