About the Role
In this role, you will independently deliver defined software increments for the Identity and Access Management (IAM) module of the MCCS platform. You will shape the IAM solution concept for Keycloak and OAuth and turn it into secure, reusable Java and Angular solutions, backed by clear evidence that quality and governance criteria are met. Your work leaves the platform with a stable, well-documented base for long-term operation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver defined increments of the IAM module end to end, from implementation to release, with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
- Design the IAM solution concept and implementation artifacts for Keycloak and OAuth, so that authentication and authorization stay secure, maintainable, and reusable across the MCCS platform
- Analyze requirements with stakeholders, clarify open questions, and break them down into implementation tasks within a Scrum team
- Build event-driven integrations with Kafka and micro-frontends with Angular that fit the platform's microservice architecture
- Containerize and deploy services with Docker and Kubernetes, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and release
- Set up automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, and document evidence that each increment meets the agreed acceptance criteria
- Prepare source code, configuration artifacts, technical documentation, and release notes for every increment
- Align solutions with the agreed governance and standardization criteria, and share IAM know-how with the team through code reviews
Requirements
- Very good knowledge of developing complex web platforms in distributed systems, with a deep understanding of microservice architecture from a developer's or DevOps perspective
- 5+ years of experience with the Java stack, knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring Boot
- 3+ years of experience with Keycloak and OAuth
- 3+ years of experience with Angular, knowledge of the micro-frontend approach
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
- Knowledge of implementing event-based architectures with Kafka
- Knowledge of setting up test automation (unit, integration, e2e) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in an agile Scrum team, with the ability to discuss requirements with stakeholders and define implementation tasks
- Fluent German and English to run meetings, write documentation, and communicate with stakeholders
