Our Customer Data Governance team is responsible for designing, supporting, and operating the Customer Data Governance framework. We oversee its execution across corporate functions and delivery units, ensuring compliance with data processing requirements.

Our mission is to create strong processes for managing customer data in a secure and effective manner. We empower delivery teams to meet regulatory and contractual compliance while minimizing risks. Through collaboration and innovation, we enhance organizational success.

IF YOU ARE

  • Results-oriented, diligent, and working with a sense of urgency. Assertive, responsible for own work, with a strong affinity for defining work in deliverables, and willing to meet deadlines
  • Familiar with data sensitivity levels and how they could be applied and managed within the organization
  • Knowledgeable about contractual obligations and standard contract clauses interpretation in the scope of contract analysis
  • Experienced in transferring and documenting contract assessment process to ensure compliance with customer data protection requirements
  • Be aware of control management and how controls could cover security requirements
  • Familiar with maintaining records of data processing activities and assisting with data inventories
  • Experienced in privacy standards like GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA, and able to help transform these into actionable data policies
  • Strong in cooperation with delivery teams to support data-related activities
  • Comfortable with participating in audits and supporting preparations for certifications and assessments
  • Capable of collaboration with cross-functional teams and effective communication in English

AND YOU WANT TO

  • Support the implementation and operation of Customer Data Governance framework at both corporate and delivery levels
  • Monitor data processing activities to ensure adherence to privacy and security standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage customer data-related risks, ensuring proper contractual and regulatory obligations handling
  • Analyze contracts with the customer to identify and assess obligations from both the customer’s and SoftServe’s perspectives
  • Cooperate with technical experts to analyze controls and evaluate their coverage of contractual commitments at both corporate and delivery levels
  • Collaborate with Data Governance leadership, corporate departments, and delivery teams to design and implement effective processes
  • Prepare for internal and external audits and support certification processes
  • Assist in classifying, registering, updating, transferring, archiving, and disposing of data in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements
