BS Middle Database Administrator (part-time)

REQUIREMENTS

• 2–3 years of experience with MS SQL Server 2008–2016
• Strong knowledge of built-in MS SQL Server tools
• Hands-on work with distributed databases, including synchronization and mirroring
• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux administration

Nice-to-have skills

• Experience with Zabbix
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of GitLab
• DBA certification
• Intermediate+ English

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and maintain databases
• Develop and optimize stored procedures, triggers, and jobs
• Monitor and analyze database performance using profilers, query events, and Query Store
• Write PostgreSQL procedures, create tables and triggers, and configure PostgreSQL environments
• Configure Always On availability solutions and install cluster instances
• Ensure database security, integrity, backup, and recovery
• Maintain technical documentation
• Communicate with client representatives when required
