Our customer is Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), the biggest brewery company in the world. We own over 630 beer brands (including Budweiser, Stella Artois, Hoegaarden, Beck’s, Leffe, Chernigivske) in 150 countries and are considered to cover 28% of the global beer market worldwide. European HQ is in Leuven, Belgium.

BEES is an e-commerce and SaaS company created by AB InBev (bees.com). BEES is transforming the traditional sales model, for all. In our project we are delivering BEES platform to different countries.

REQUIREMENTS

• Solid skills in backend development with strong Java knowledge
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Proficient in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring MVC) or similar technologies
• Knowledge of non-relational databases such as CosmosDB or MongoDB
• Understanding of messaging systems (e.g., pub-sub, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Familiarity with security protocols (e.g., JWT, OAuth)
• Good grasp of software design patterns and development best practices
• Understanding of software testing concepts including unit, integration, regression, and automation testing
• Experience with DevOps tools and environments (Kubernetes, Docker, Azure)
• Familiarity with development tools such as Git, Maven, and Gradle
• Upper-Intermediate English for effective communication with cross-functional teams
• Proactive, responsible, and collaborative mindset
• Ability to clearly communicate and advocate technical solutions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multi-tasking demands

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a global product as part of a cross-functional team
• Develop and maintain tools for testing, automation, and release processes
• Participate in the rollout of the BEES Marketplace to new countries
• Implement new features and enhance existing ones to improve user experience and engagement
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure user-centric development
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related technical issues
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends to keep the platform competitive
• Follow best development practices and continuously improve code quality and performance
