ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will contribute to designing and shaping enterprise-scale Data & Analytics solutions built on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform within Azure environments. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders, supporting architecture activities, pre-sales engagements, and delivery planning while helping organizations modernize and scale their data platforms using cloud-native technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and support implementation of large-scale Data & Analytics platforms using Databricks and Azure technologies
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solution architectures and implementation approaches
- Collaborate with customers, delivery teams, and stakeholders during discovery workshops, architecture discussions, and solution planning sessions
- Support pre-sales activities by contributing to technical proposals, architecture presentations, demos, and solution assessments
- Participate in defining migration strategies, high-level estimates, Statements of Work (SoW), and roadmap proposals
- Design and maintain scalable batch and streaming data architectures using Databricks and Azure services
- Support implementation of streaming and real-time data processing solutions using Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hub, and Databricks Structured Streaming
- Contribute to establishing and maintaining data governance practices using Unity Catalog, including access control, lineage, and auditing
- Participate in the full project lifecycle, from discovery and PoC phases to MVP and production implementation
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Data Architect with hands-on expertise in enterprise-scale Data & Analytics platforms
- Strong experience designing Databricks-based architectures and data solutions within Azure cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with Databricks technologies, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows, Jobs, and SQL Warehouses
- Strong knowledge of Azure data services such as ADLS Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, and related technologies
- Advanced SQL and Python skills with practical experience in data engineering and analytics workloads
- Experience with streaming and real-time architectures using Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hub, and Databricks Structured Streaming
- Experience participating in customer-facing and pre-sales activities, including workshops, architecture discussions, and solution presentations
- Knowledge of data governance concepts and implementation using Unity Catalog
- Upper-intermediate or higher level of English
