ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will contribute to designing and implementing scalable data platforms and data processing solutions within AWS environments. You will work with both batch and streaming architectures, collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, and support the definition of modern data solutions for AI-driven and data-intensive workloads. You will participate in architecture and delivery activities across the full project lifecycle in a collaborative and innovation-driven engineering environment, with opportunities to explore emerging technologies and experiment with new approaches.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and support implementation of scalable data platforms and data processing solutions using AWS services
- Define and maintain data architectures supporting batch, streaming, and analytical workloads
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions and implementation plans
- Support data ingestion activities, including source-to-target mappings and integration of new data sources
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to scaling data platforms and evolving data models
- Work with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or MWAA to manage workflows and data pipelines
- Support implementation of real-time data processing solutions using Apache Kafka, Amazon MSK, or Kinesis
- Create and maintain architecture documentation, data schemas, and technical design materials
- Participate in the full project lifecycle, from discovery and PoCs to production implementation
- Evaluate emerging technologies, build prototypes, and contribute to innovation initiatives and knowledge sharing
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience designing scalable data platforms and data pipeline architectures
- Hands-on experience with batch and streaming data processing solutions
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud services for data engineering and analytics workloads
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Databricks, or similar distributed data processing frameworks
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or MWAA
- Practical experience with streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka, Amazon MSK, or Kinesis
- Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn new technologies and experiment with innovative solutions
- Upper-intermediate or higher level of English
- Experience with video, image, or audio processing pipelines for AI applications (as a plus)
- Experience with IoT data platforms and data processing solutions (advantageous)
- Familiarity with NVIDIA technologies, GPU-accelerated computing, or AI infrastructure (beneficial)
