ABOUT THE ROLE
The AWS Solution Engineering & Enablement team bridges the gap between solution architecture and scalable delivery. As part of the AWS Cloud Center of Excellence, you will help transform architectural concepts into reusable, production-ready engineering capabilities that can be adopted across customer engagements.
Working closely with architects, engineers, and technical leaders, you will contribute to the development of secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud solutions, enabling high-quality delivery across areas such as cloud migration, application modernization, platform engineering, DevSecOps, Amazon Connect, and cloud-native applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build, and maintain reusable AWS frameworks, accelerators, automation, and engineering assets
- Transform solution architectures into scalable and repeatable implementation patterns
- Develop and validate cloud solutions through proofs of concept, prototypes, and technical assessments
- Build landing zones, Infrastructure as Code modules, CI/CD frameworks, migration tooling, and security automation
- Support complex customer engagements with hands-on AWS engineering expertise
- Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to improve solution designs and resolve technical challenges
- Establish engineering standards, operational readiness criteria, and best practices
- Create technical documentation, reference implementations, runbooks, and reusable assets
- Enable delivery teams through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance
- Contribute to the growth and adoption of Cloud CoE capabilities, accelerators, and intellectual property
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong practical knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native engineering practices
- Experience with AI-assisted software engineering tools and agentic development approaches
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or similar)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, software delivery automation, and source control
- Knowledge of AWS networking, IAM, security, observability, governance, and operational best practices
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, containers, serverless services, and modern application architectures
- Skill in translating solution designs into maintainable, scalable, and reusable implementations
- Strong engineering mindset focused on automation, quality, security, testing, and operational excellence
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Upper-Intermediate English level or higher
