ENGLISH LEVEL UP Mentor-guided online English language course
Can you imagine working in IT without knowing English?
Starting with learning, technical literature, and finishing with project work, communication with the team, meetings and correspondence with stakeholders. Probably not. And of course, good English is an opportunity to get a good offer and often one of the requirements for promotion.
Therefore, if you need to improve your IT English, join the English Level Up. This is not just a general English course. It was developed by SoftServe teachers based on IT cases and situations on real projects. No 'London is the capital of...'. You will learn what is really necessary in communications in IT projects, passing interviews in English and working in an international team.
DURING THE COURSE YOU WILL:
- get intensive 2-month learning;

have 3 classes per week (2 self-study sessions and 1 speaking class with a mentor);
Speaking class on Fridays at 15:00 - 16:30 - receive a life-long access to speaking clubs (held on Tuesdays at 4:30 pm);
- work in a comfortable group of up to 12 people, pair-work and group work;
- chat on Discord: a place for your midnight questions, funny stickers and chat with a mentor.

- Three different courses according to your level of English. Your group will be determined after the English level evaluation.

1. How to apply?

Before the course start, you’ll be interviewed by an english teacher to make sure you are ready for the course (conversation via zoom with our language teacher).
2. Can I apply if I'm from the non-IT industry?
Yes, the course is useful for non-developers: designers, marketing specialists, content managers and many other professionals and switchers.
3. How much time do I need to invest in it?
The course is made out of 3 lessons per week (2 self-studies + 1 group lesson). Atop to that, you'll need to reserve 1-2 hours to complete practice tasks.
4. Do you award the certificates after the course completion?
Yes, in case you successfully complete the studies, take part in an English interview, you will be awarded a certificate issued by SoftServe Academy.
5. Is there a deadline for course registration?
Registration ends exactly 1 week before the course starts. Therefore, register prior to this moment.

We aim to help start a career in IT for those who really want to, but don't have the possibility to pay for the course. We offer several free places on the course to veterans, internally displaced people, and those from vulnerable groups. Please fill out the form, explain your situation and complete the test task, as some basic knowledge is required to successfully complete the course. One can obtain a free place for only one course at the SoftServe Academy.
