TO PASS ONLINE CERTIFICATION YOU NEED TO

  • Make sure you have a comfortable and quiet place
  • Make sure you have a stable internet connection
  • Turn on the computer (with a camera and microphone)
  • Launch the ZOOM application (for an online call)
  • Prepare your Government Issued ID (passport/identity card/driver’s license) to verify your identity

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the structure of the Certification?

Here are all the components:
  • Incoming online quizzes. Technical quiz has 12 questions and lasts for 20 min. The one to test your English has 50 questions and lasts 30 min.
  • Technical test is a 2-hours computer-based test. You’re given 2 options to pass it: on remote and at the test center. Tech test consists of 2 parts:

    Theoretical part: a test with multiple choice questions.

    Practical part: at this stage, you’ll have to write the code to solve different programming tasks - related to one specific topic, or to complex solutions to test practice skills in several knowledge areas. The answers are automatically validated by the system for thousands of test cases, so there is no chance just to hard-code the answers expected by the system.

  • English interview to check your speaking skills on any topic. It lasts for 15 minutes.

What is the passing score for the certification?

After the successful passing of Certification the candidate will receive 2 certificates: Tech and English ones. The successful score for technical test is 50%/65% depending on the certification direction. The passing level for the English Certificate is Intermediate-low.

How long does it take to pass the certification?

You’re given 30 days to complete the certification. You can pass it even in 1 day (depending on available time slots in Certification Center). If the candidate fails at the certification, the next attempt is available in 30 days.

What is the validity period for the certificates?

English Certificate expires in 6 months and Technical Certificate expires in 1 year. You can verify your certificate and check the expire date any time after the certification completion. Certification Verification

What if I fail the certification?

Having not scored enough points, you’ll receive the analytical report with the detailed information on certification categories. Use this report to identify the areas you need to improve and apply for the next try.

How to reschedule?

You can reschedule the test no later than 48 hours before the testing date. If you miss the test date, you’ll be able to pass certification in 30 days after the ending of the last certification attempt.
